Back to an old favourite in mid Worcestershire. 23rd August 2026.

We were glad to be back at this familiar farm and fuelled by the hope of previous digs here. This was a re-dig but there were still some lovely finds that came up. 

It was much hotter than the forecast and many of us gave up and left early, but there was good company and interesting conversation to be had for those who were taking shelter from the sun under the gazebo.

After the vote In third place was

In second place was Leon’s lovely denarius

But in first place was Tony’s Roman fabulous pinhead. Congratulations Tony!
