July 28th - Wychbold

Blessed again with the weather! Some lovely pasture produced a number of hammered coins & other artefacts including a Medieval strap buckle & a lead 'whirlygig' toy for Ken Stratford. Mary also had an interesting as yet unidentified find. But our 'find of the day' goes to Rob Griffiths for double silver. I f you're going to find your first hammered coin then no better than a Henry VIII half groat!
