Restricted numbers due to a smaller field only being available, this was our first outing this season on Barley stubble. We had to dodge the odd shower & torrential downpour, well some did!

We had the usual copper coins and bits & bobs come up, Greg found a nice William III silver love token. But for those that were there, this day will live in their memory, because without any doubt the 'Find of the Day' was Eva's Celtic Gold Stater circa. 65BC of the Belgae tribe. Congratulations Eva, I know every member of the club are so happy for you and it's very well deserved.
