Part 2 of North Worcestershire dig 19th July 2026

Another great day out with a mixture of cloud and sunshine - some managing the heat better than others but all starting out enthusiastically, if waning towards lunchtime! Other stalwarts lasted the whole day. A few were noticed to be catching up on a little sleep here and there!There were some lovely finds of such different types: a gold watch/clock winder, a lovely pot leg and an interesting token among them:

In third place was Keith’s hammered coin

In second place, David's vesica seal 

But in first place by some margin was Daz’s beautiful silver denarius. Congratulations Daz!
